~A sliding cell allows you to adjust power without the need to change eyepieces as often

ETX-90PE & ETX-125PE Astro Telescope

當 ETX ® 於 1996 年推出時, 已蹄造業餘天文學的革命, 其漂亮、輕便及多功能的設計及前所未有的光學質素, 導致 ETX 很快便成為全球最高銷售望遠鏡. 目前已售出超過 10 萬台.

光學系統:

幾乎全部在美國加州 Irvine 製造, 並使用馬克蘇托夫-卡塞格林式光學設計, 其光學質素比同口徑的同類設計都要優勝甚或超越, 而其消息差功能更臻 ED APO 的境界. 

乂式座架配備電子雙軸馬達驅動

ETX 望遠鏡內置兩軸高扭力直流馬達, 可用插線式原裝手柄控制, 鍵盤按 8x: 於高倍將目標置於中央; 按 32x 於低倍將目標置於中央; 0.75°/ 秒控制目標置於尋星鏡或高速看風景; 5°/ 秒搜尋天空. 以上指令只須按 SPEED 鍵即可. 

經緯式 (地平) 或赤道式操作

將望遠鏡置於卓上即經緯式狀態, 按手柄 [上|下|左|右] 鍵便可追縱星體. 而全自動天文追縱則有賴另購的 Autostar 手控器, 因此, ETX望遠鏡可配合超級野外三腳架或卓用三腳架而運作於赤道儀模式.

野外操作

ETX 底座的電池匣可放 8 枚 AA 電池, 一般可使用 40 小時. 另購 #607 電源線, 更可使用汽車點煙座的 12V 電源.

轉向反射鏡系統

將內置光學平面反射鏡轉到 90° 位置, 是一般的腰平觀測. 如將它轉向方, 配以 #932 45° 正像稜鏡, 適合觀景賞鳥. 配以 #64 T-接環, 可作直焦拍攝用途.

物料、鍍膜

ETX 光學系統包括一片 A 級 BK7 馬克蘇托夫凹透鏡 (修正鏡), 此透鏡是 Meade 光學師人手研磨, 並配合 Pyrex  ® 主鏡以臻最高效果. 修正鏡兩面均用超高透光鍍膜 (UHTC), 此嶄新技術的多層鍍膜包括三氧化二鋁 (Al2O3)、二氧化鈦 (TiO2)、 二氟化鎂 (MgF2) 鍍膜, UHTC 可加強黃光波段 580nm 達 99.8%, 而總透光率比傳統鍍膜高 20%. 主鏡及反射鏡用鋁/ 一氧化矽鍍膜, 皆為標準配備.

標準配備

包括 4000 系列 Super Plossl 26mm 目鏡, 48x (ETX-90EC); 57x (ETX-105EC); 73x (ETX-125EC). ETX-90EC 含 8x21 正像尋星鏡, ETX-105EC/ ETX-125EC 各配 8x25 腰平尋星鏡.

可選擇配件

超過 20 種目鏡, 如 Super Plossl (SP); Super Wide Angle (SWA); Ultra Wide Angle (UWA), 倍率從 31x~400x, 適合觀測各類天體如月球、行星、深空天體等, 亦可作觀景賞鳥之用.
#126 2x 增焦鏡可將倍率乘二, 如有三個目鏡, 等於有 6 個不同倍率組合.

Autostar #497 can be retrofitted to ETX-90EC, ETX-105EC, ETX-125EC & LX90 telescope. It is one of  the most versatile telescope hand controller ever since. A simple telescope alignment followed by a press on the GOTO button, you are ready to observe any object in the Autostar's 30,000 object data base. Its user-friendly, even the most novice observer will be easily capture different objects at the very first night: Saturn's rings, Jupiter's moons, Orion Nebula, Omega Centauri, etc. Besides, you may simply connect the Autostar by the #505 cable set (RS232 serial interface) with Meade AstroFinder software pre-installed in the PC or notebook, once you click and point on any object on the PC display, the telescope will slew to the target in several seconds!

Autostar #497 適用於 ETX-90PE, ETX-125PE及 LX90-ACF 望遠鏡, 它是目前最多功能的望遠鏡控制器之一. 只須輸入日期、時間及預先設定兩顆基準星 (alignment star), 按 GOTO 鍵, 你便可輕鬆地觀測多達 30,000 個天体. 它使用非常簡單, 就算初入門的觀測者在第一次亦很容易觀測到多個天体：土星環, 木衛, 獵戶座星雲, 亞米加星團等. 你亦可將 Autostar 與電腦連線, 透過 #505 連線套件及 Meade AstroFinder 軟體, 便可用滑鼠自如地操控望遠鏡, 不消十數秒, 望遠鏡立刻指向目標天體.

調 校 準 兩 顆 星 (Alignment star) 前必需做的步驟

A. 用手將鏡筒反時針旋𨍭至盡頭，
B. 再順時針旋𨍭120度至北面，此為歸零位
(home position)
C. 電源 (Power)面板向西， 鏡筒向北.

ETX-90/ 125-PE 與 Autostar 簡易操作法

1. Autostar 上按  ? 鍵  再按 5 鍵
2. 輸入 [日期], 本地 [時間], Daylight Saving [NO]
3. 屏幕顯示 Align, 按 Enter 選擇 Easy
4. 將鏡筒調成水平 (左側刻度 0度) 及向北 (可觀看北極星或用指南針顯示)
5. 按 ENTER, 望遠鏡自動指向一顆己設定的亮星
6. 如該星不在主鏡視場, 按上/下/左/右符號鍵直至該星在視場中央
7. 按 Enter, 望遠鏡再自動指向另一顆己設定的亮星
8. 如果該星不在視場, 重覆步驟 6
9. 如果該星剛在視場中央, 按 Enter
10. Alignment 步驟完成, 望遠鏡已在追蹤及自動找星

找星大法

1. Object 檔選擇 solar system, 按 enter
2. 選擇 Saturn (土星), 按 Enter, 再按 Goto
3. 望遠鏡自動指向土星,嗶一聲即對準

1. 按 Mode 返回上頁, 再按 mode 多次直至返回最上頁
2. 按住 Mode 2秒顯示: 電池水平 (Battery level), 現 地 時 (Local time), 地平座標 (Alt-az), 天球 座標, (R.A./ Dec), 觀測地 名 (site) 緯度 (latitde/ longitude) 及 �紅點導星 Finder set�
